In 2017, our city was awarded the title of “European City of Sport 2018”. The title is awarded by the European Capitals and Cities of Sport Federation, a non-profit organization recognized in the European Commission’s White Paper, which aims to internationally acknowledge communities that value sport and create contexts favourable to its development for its inhabitants.
